About Jeanne Oliver

Jeanne is married to her dream maker, Kelly, and the mother to three funny and creative kiddos.  She home schools her children even though she has tried to get out of it a few times.  You can often find her hiking in her state of Colorado, making creative messes in her studio and finding an excuse to have another cup of coffee.

She speaks and teaches all around the country and sometimes she even gets to cross the pond.  She was told that she needed to find that one thing but she doesn’t like listening to directions so she embraces many loves and that has given her a sweet mash up of family, art, decorating and fashion.  Connecting with women and sharing that each of us has been creatively made is one of her passions.   The Lord is showing her each day to trust in him and in doing that the adventure continues.

I am so glad that you are looking around my new creative network!  We wanted to create something that would hold all of our courses and allow the members to connect with one another.  We also wanted this online network to be a place that provided more than just paid for courses.  You will find free art, business and home videos and our current addition is our Creativity Takes Courage series. This is a free interview series with creative women/men from around the world.  I hope this site continues to grow and inspire.   Let's create and connect!

To get to know me better I would love for you to visit me on my blog www.jeanneoliverdesigns.com/blog/ and to see my creations at www.jeanneoliverdesigns.com.

Welcome and I hope you love the site!

Thanks Jeanne. Sorry to bother you. Like others it was the email inviting me to take the course that confused me.

I too signed up for the course via Paypal a week ago and have yet to gain access to the course.  I just received an email inviting me to take the class..no mention of my payment.

I also paid using paypal through Christy Tomlinson blog and I have not received anything regarding the course yet. Really excited about the course, is there anything else I need to do?

Hi, I'm still a little confused - I signed up on Nov 25 but when I click on the button to joking the group as described below it tells me to purchase the course. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thank you! I'm sorry for the confusion. Really looking forward to this! :-)

Pam,

If you paid using a paypal button on a blog you have to be manually added. Please go to the main page of the course, click +join in the upper right hand corner and you will be in.

Thanks,

Jeanne

Hello. I paid for your new course Studying Under the Masters but haven't heard anything since then. My PayPal invoice is dated 11/24/13. Can you tell me if you received the payment and what else I need to do to get into the class?

Thank you,

Pam Tucker

Thanks for adding me to the group. I also signed up for the Study With Apprentive Group via Kate Thompson I think it was. So I wait for an email from this site for login details etc?  Thanks in advance. Wonderful web site by the way :)

Kathryn, thank you for your message.  You paid for a course through a blog button.  Everyone that pays not directly on this site needs to be manually added.  We will get you added before the course begins on January 14th.  Thanks!

Joanne,

Could you please email me at jeanneoliverdesigns@gmail.com with your payment information so I can help you.  If anyone was not able to get into the course it was because they had paid through a paypal button on a blog and not directly on this site and they just needed to be added manually. As soon as we confirm payment we will get you added right away.

Look forward to helping you,

Jeanne

Hi Jeanne, like a few people I can't seem to get on to the course, the right side contents doesn't come up, if I go on the +join it asks me to pay again. I've tried login out and resigning but nothing is working.
Many thanks Jo

Hi, This is all new to me. I signed up for Creativly Home and paid early, I can't seem to find how to get started. I can't access the course.

Hello!  I just paid to join your newest course, Creatively Made Home {home for the holidays} via PayPal, but now I can't add the course to my page.  Can you please send instructions on how to do that?  Thank you so much and I'm reeeeeally looking forward to it!

Just to reiterate...your email is not accessible to anyone.  They only wrote on the wall of this site and THIS site sent you a private email letting you know.  Sorry that spammers are so annoying.  There are over 7,000 people on this site and I have to be honest that I have not approved/deleted etc. just as many.

Have a great night,

Jeanne

Missy,

What you have said is exactly right.  We manually add members to try and avoid this issue but sometimes they sneak in. It has been months since anyone has received a spam email.  Be comforted to know that they do not see anyone's private information.  All they did was leave you a message on your wall on my site and you were sent  an email from my site (not the individual) letting you know someone wrote to you.

If this happens again (this is rare) please don't respond and just let me know so we can get them off the site.

Thanks,
Jeanne

The company I work for has a way for our customers to sign up for events and trainings from our website. Each day, I have dozens of spammers that register trying to get gain some sort of information. I just delete them....and figure that if the government entities  and larger corporations can be hacked, then groups like this can certainly have spammers. There is no way to totally block this activity, but to only limit it as much as possible.

It is always good to remember not to "talk" to those online that are not known by you or to reply to mushy gushy emails like the one below. It does take a village for most things, and passing on this information is helpful. Maybe a great reminder to talk to our children about these possibilities too:)
